If so, and you would like to have your name added to the fixing list for the Cantamus Reigate Choir, contact the conductor at nick.landauer@ntlworld.com. Although there is no formal audition for the main Choir, admittance is at the conductor's discretion, and he will want to be satisfied that you are likely to blend well with your colleagues and to be able to cope with the limited rehearsal schedule. Initially, this will depend upon his assessment of your experience. All voices are welcome in the Choir.

Membership of the Cantamus Reigate Chamber Choir however is by audition. In the Chamber Choir we presently only have vacancies for tenors. Contact the conductor at nick.landauer@ntlworld.com if you would like to arrange to be heard.

Subscriptions: Unlike choirs that meet every week throughout the year, with a regular membership, Cantamus Reigate is ad hoc and has a shifting population, and thus cannot charge an annual subscription. However, there are always expenses to meet, such as music hire and accompanists' and soloists' fees, that for some concerts can amount to almost £1000. To supplement the proceeds from the door, adult singers are therefore asked for a contribution of £10 for each concert in which they take part. Any excess is put towards the general proceeds of the concert and donated to whichever cause we have decided to support at that event.
